Textured Art

For Visually Impaired

To me, the feel of art is just as important as the visual aspect. I was blind till I was four years old and my understanding of the environment relied mainly on my sense of touch.  Now, although I have sight, this remains very important to me.  I love texture. I also love bright vivid colours.

The featured elephant is typical of my paintings.  It is a mixed media piece incorporating modelling medium , fabric and hot glue.
