I love making decorations for Halloween. Especially for out of doors.

We always enjoyed this festival as a family with dressing up, special food and games.

I use a variety of materials and methods. It's very important that they are weatherproof as they are outside all of October and into November. The characters hanging out of the windows are papier-mâché heads sprayed with plastic to repel the water.

I use plastic containers like flower pots and waste paper bins as 'bodies' for the life size models and ensure that any clothing is either very light or waterproof. Black bin bags are incredibly adaptable! They can be used for cloaks and for hair.
