You know the feeling. You buy a nice new canvas with the intention of painting something then you haven't a clue what to paint or how to start. There's nothing as intimidating as a blank canvas!
This post is for absolute beginners and for those who just need some inspiration or feel like trying something new.
The canvas above was created during a demo for beginners in painting with coffee and tea. This may not be regarded as 'real art' by many but it is a very sensuous and relaxing form of art offering not just a fluidity of movement and beautiful rich tones but also wonderful aromas! Because much of the composition of the background is determined by the coffee itself, the process is taken out of your hands. There is no stress. Great for relaxing.
